The Somero S‑15R Laser Screed® is a high‑performance, sophisticated concrete leveling machine designed to improve floor quality and increase productivity and profitability on slab‑on‑grade pours. It features a patented fully integrated self‑leveling head assembly that simultaneously plows, levels, and consolidates concrete in a single automated pass, reducing the need for manual finishing. The machine’s Somero® Quick Pass feature automatically rakes down excessively high concrete without manual intervention. The hydraulically driven double flight auger and offset head design cuts the surface to grade and moves excess concrete to the sides, while the flip‑down plow extension helps minimize overlap for greater efficiency. A 20’ (6 m) telescopic boom allows the operator to reach over obstacles like rebar, mesh, columns, pipes, and box outs while screeding. Its powerful hydraulic system maintains grade even with very low slump concrete, and the unit can be transported easily on a flatbed truck or tag‑behind trailer. Standard features include the OASIS Laser Control System, 360° machine rotation with multiple steering modes (2‑wheel, 4‑wheel, and crab steering), column block protection, an LCD display with built‑in diagnostics, and compatibility with the Somero 3‑D Profiler System®.
